The Basilica of the Sacred Heart serves as the mother church of the Congregation of Holy Cross in the United States. It is in the Basilica that Holy Cross religious profess final vows, that seminarians are ordained priests and where deceased religious are commended to God. Likewise, it is a place of worship and prayer for students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as for regular worshipers, pilgrims and countless visitors. Some people are even married here!
An hour-long boat tour through Bluespring Caverns brings you up close to the majesty of the underground trip as natural as can be. Passage and water-courses are illuminated by the pocket of light that follows your tour boat through darkness that otherwise envelopes everything. Here for each visitor to share is the thrill for exploration of the first explorers. Here, you may see and elusive and rare blind cavefish. Also, blind crayfish live in the dark cavern constantly searching for food. Many animals like bats and salamanders also live in these caverns. You may see a salamander glow reddish orangey in the dark.
Holiday World & Splashin' Safari is a combination theme park and water park located near Interstate 64 and U.S. 231 in Santa Claus, Indiana, United States.
